This site is dedicated to Ballyrashane Protestant Flute Band.
Ballyrashane Protestant Flute Band celebrated its 100th year in 2008. During that year, a parade was
held to mark this occassion, and was attended by over 35 bands. Ballyrashane had 51 flutes and 20 drums,
(including past members), and lead by a flag-bearer carrying the original flag from the band's infancy.
The band celebrates its centenary year, this year and a range of activities has been arranged to
reflect this momentus occassion.
